Matthew Wood
Site & Operations Manager
0118 9 40 40 45
Having grown up in Derbyshire, Matt attended King’s College London to study Human Biology. Shortly after graduating from university in 2005 Matt moved to Wargrave to help with the running of Camp Mohawk.
Matt found his flair for engineering, maintenance and anything ‘handy’ and lives and breathes the Camp Mohawk site to ensure it is always both smart and safe. Since Camp Mohawk is located within an ancient woodland all of Matt’s improvements, renovations and site works are carefully considered in order to compliment and be sympathetic to the beautiful natural environment that we wish to preserve.
Matt is the go-to person for all of our Corporate/Community Days and organises these days for many local and national organisations throughout term-time.
Matt is also a qualified archery instructor, lifeguard and runs circus skills workshops for the children and young people who visit.
His roles require an analytical, caring and patient mind when managing the site, as well as when running workshops with the young people, which suits him down to the ground.

Jude Bradbook
Officer Manager/Accounts
0118 9 40 40 45
Jude is Reading born and bred, although she has lived in Surrey and the North for some of her life.
She spent seven years with Surrey Fire & Rescue Service as a Fire Control Operator taking 999 calls before moving to Bolton. She moved back to Berkshire with her two children in 1999 and went back to college to start her book-keeping career resulting in the set-up of her company in 2004. In May 2018, Jude joined Camp Mohawk as a freelance book-keeper. Working Tuesday to Thursday, she’s responsible for maintaining the financial records, dealing with new registrations and bookings, amongst other things. In October 2022, Jude became employed by Camp Mohawk and also joined the Support Playworker team.
A bit of a daredevil at heart, Jude has done a parachute jump, a skydive, hot air ballooning and a helicopter ride around the Statue of Liberty. In 2017, she went volunteering in Ghana which led to her returning three more times to support a school and village, in many ways, over the next few years until Covid, and costs, prevented her from continuing.
When time allows, Jude loves to travel, being creative, jigsaw puzzles, cinema and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
