A focal feature of Camp Mohawk is the camp fire circle which is situated in the heart of Camp Mohawk’s grounds.
The camp fire circle is enclosed by a grassy bank, with amphitheatre seating arrangement. It is used for a variety of functions, most commonly camp fires, bushcraft lessons, drum/music sessions, BBQs or simply as a place to congregate to tell and share stories. Safety during camp fire sessions is paramount and fires are closely monitored with the option to close off with ‘fencing hurdles’ (as shown in the picture) when appropriate.
