Our heated outdoor swimming pool is one of the focal points of Camp Mohawk. It is open during the summer months of June to September, with qualified staff on hand to supervise.
The pool is surrounded by a secure safety fence, and is designed for easy access with beach style sloping sides at each end. At its deepest point in the centre, the pool measures a depth of 1 metre. Changing facilities are close by.
Parents are more than welcome to accompany their child into the pool, and it is usually possible for a member of staff to be in the pool to provide support if necessary. Swimming trunks and towels must be brought, however if you do forget then we have spares of various shapes and sizes which can be provided.
We have a seemingly endless selection of inflatable toys, floats, surfboards, rubber rings, arm bands and sinky toys that are not only great fun but also assist with swimming, be it for children who have never been in a pool before, right through to children who can confidently swim underwater (for short periods of time!).
